MAGICPLEX8 is an advanced multiplexor/data router that can streamline the way electronic information is handled and transferred between your equipment and the control centres. It identifys your equipment and gets the information where it needs to go, keeps it safe, also detects and minimises errors.

With two models available, suitable for both lesiure and Commercial Craft.

MAGICPLEX8 has 8 channels which can be operated as either input/output or both, all parameters are fully adjustable and are easily configured with the provided software, so every device can be adjusted to suit the needs of your vessel. With scratchpad memories your data is kept safe, even with an extreme fluctuation in baud rate, data sets will not get lost.

Each device sends its unique identification to the MAGICPLEX8, which with dynamic routing then recognises where the data should be sent. Filters can be adjusted for each channel so no irrelevant NMEA-information will be sent your equipment. It also evaluates the data’s quality and if an error is detected the system can automatically connect to another working device.

Dynamic routing is a valuable in the conversion of the NMEA-data between different transmission protocols such as 8 x RS422, 2 xRS232, TCP-IP/UDP and CAN-bus, which are the available interfaces.

The data baud rate can be configured for each channel separately and can all have different speeds. All ports can be routed to a different port. This device has IEC 60945 Certification and can be used for commercial Vessels.
